Even SME's can try outsourcing
The key lesson is 'Know what you want.' My company has been outsourcing
it's web design and maintenance for over five years. The first few
years it was mostly done with UK companies but two years ago we decided
to cut our costs dramatically by outsourcing abroad. We decided to
start with a couple of new, non-mission crictial projects. I am one of
those people who believe that to learn something you have to put your
toe in the water but try and make sure you don't get your foot bitten
off in the process.
Micro Loans/ credit
Micro loans/credit provide a means by which people with no capital can start small businesses. HABITAT FOR HUMANITY makes such loans available to people without shelter and enable them to buy land and build a home to call their own.
There is concern however of people's ability to repay these loans and would would happen to their home for instance if they failed to pay. In some rural areas in Uganda these loans have been extended to farmers, basket weaver's etc, but with trade restrictions worldwide, how can these farmers and basket weavers build viable businesses to enable them to repay the loans.
I would be grateful for your thoughts/experiences in this area

UK Payroll Funding and financing - Totally Unsecured!
It is a well know fact that lack of cash flow plays a significant part in holding back the growth of small and medium sized businesses. Its not that you don't have a steady and reliable income. It's just some customer's don't play as promptly as they should and of course, the one payment that has to be made each week or month is the payroll.

Love is in the air....warming story...
Quite often when one runs a business its easy to lose sight of the ultimate goal of the operation in the midst of trying to make a profit and gain new clients. However once in a while its important to take stock and recognise the good that comes out of the service one provides.
