Sustainable Development
We are interested in hearing about any projects site members are involved with with a sustainable business model. Currently I am involved with a Internet Cafe sited in Bakau Lower Basic School in Gambia. We put in the centre and pay for the connection. The kids have lessons in it three mornings a week, the rest of the time it functions as an internet cafe to try to cover the costs of running the centre. After about 6 months it is covering about 35% of the costs, but we are optimistic as it is growing in popularity.
