There's a bill before the United States Senate concerning new rules for 401(k) and other retirement accounts. The Senate wants individuals to not use retirement accounts as a source of personal loans. The number of times an individual is allowed to borrow from their retirement account would be limited by a new bill.

Sustainable Development
We are interested in hearing about any projects site members are involved with with a sustainable business model. Currently I am involved with a Internet Cafe sited in Bakau Lower Basic School in Gambia. We put in the centre and pay for the connection. The kids have lessons in it three mornings a week, the rest of the time it functions as an internet cafe to try to cover the costs of running the centre. After about 6 months it is covering about 35% of the costs, but we are optimistic as it is growing in popularity.
